My New GF

At last I have bested Carolyn Ruth -- getting her to accept that Natalie Darby will be with me every day as she (Carolyn) moves to New Mexico.

Changing My Mind - All The Time?

That's the way CYFFR P: should probably take my words.  I did make it clear to her in the past 24 hours that I was cutting her out of my life.  Carolyn has been good at making this adjustment for several years now.  Ruth, on the other hand, still needs Carolyn and her friends to nudge her in the direction of letting me go.

Friday 2 July 2016:  I joined Ruth at Village Inn for breakfast.  We discussed our plans/schedule through the first week of August.

Rocky Ford Inn

There was a clear sky - dark with a few stars and no moon - when Carolyn reported for work.  She changed a light bulb over the bonsai and emptied her things out of the bathroom. She wrote a letter to one of my brothers.  On the way back to the Inn in Rocky Ford to unload her things, she stopped for breakfast at Village Inn.  While waiting for her order, she saw an ad on the television.  "The Secret Life of Pets" is hilarious!

Tuesday: Carolyn packed all day while Ruth wrote and kept up correspondence for R'SON.
Wednesday: I'm working with Natalie all day today. Carolyn will continue to pack Ruth's things and work with her bankers and a realtor to find a place to live in Raton, New Mexico. Friends and family who want to write to her may send their letters c/o the Nelsons in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

New Neighbors

Carolyn introduced herself to her new neighbors in the camp ground this morning.  They are cousins, Hilary and Haela, following the Sante Fe Trail.  They hail from Maine and New Hampshire.

Thursday 7 July:  Ruth and I are working together today to strike camp so that she can leave early tomorrow.  She will be renting or buying a new home/office -- a physical location for RainbowWay.org. First we went to the camp to move Psyche M'Lady, an old chocolate point Siamese, from the tent to her traveling cage.  Later, Ryan (a friend who also works at Copper Kitchen) met the van at Dale Davis's place and carried to cat in to the boarding area while Carolyn Ruth signed the papers.

Carolyn then drove my van back to Walmart and the campground to prepare for our "strike the camp BBQ."  She met some of our Evergreen Gardens neighbors, the Horns. During the lunch hour, she ate a snack at home, finished her laundry and took a nap.

MAGNANIMOUS

A perfect stranger made a magnanimous gift of his good fortune this morning at Christine's in Rocky Ford.  Then I had Ruth drive me to Casa Del Sol.  She researched the availability of a rental apartment while I chated with a few old friends.

handwriting

Carolyn is telling Ruth and me that she see's the handwriting on the wall.  Eviction from our duplex at Evergreen Gardens may be just around the corner.
