Old Folks, an Amber Legacy

Amber served IT through the night, genuine southern hospitality, to two old goats still struggling with pain.  Don provided security in co-operation with local lawmen.  Mr. Alfred served us all breakfast before the Ashley Dawn.  IT is the eve of Valentine's Day, the day following our celebration of Lincoln's life and presidency.

Amber and Dr. Hess are people whom Mr. Alfred calls Georgia peaches.  We spent the early morning taking pictures and telling stories, even sharing secrets, of family life extending  seven generationsDr. Crisp-Yeager explained the origin of her book and of her playing with Missy on the keyboard.  She didn't mention the trip from windmill to windmill last Saturday.  Too much information for the children, she thought.

Missy thought so too.  The old folks have been explorers for many decades.  Their interest in the tragedies of yesterday's news go deeper than Whitney or her daughter could imagine.  They remember the death of heroes "for reals."
  1. JFK
  2. MLK
  3. Brother Robert
The flagship of adventure for them is not just economics, power, ecology and politics.  IT is social synergy researched and developed at RainbowWay.org.  In the afternoon we shared grace, a turkey dinner and private communion with Amber's folks, i.e. HIStory in which Abba is called "Daddy Ben."  They asked many questions of Grandad about Mom.  He had saved her letters and passed them on to younger family members.  They made only brief reference to the insanity of  The Obama Nation.  I paid close attention, took notes, and recorded the event with Sam, an AT&T docking phone.  Missy
