Grandad and I have accepted an invitation from my church to study a book with John's Sunday school class. We travel lots, however, and may have to do IT here using this blog. I've just read Tom's contribution to "George's Business" in which we are all reminded of the value of taking a new look, from a new perspective, at our world and ourselves.
Somewhere in time (not the fictional fantasy) between the day I was born, on the Feast of St. Francis, and the day Grandad stamped "DEXTER AND FERN HESS" with a street address onto the first page of a book in his personal library in La Junta, Colorado, the greatest generation of heros had gone to school and were dying.
That was last Christmas. Today is Thursday, 8 August 2013. We're still working on IT!
