Sunday, 24 November:
Since I have access to Mom’s diaries, I can tell you how many times that she has fallen in love and with whom.

1.      Peter Lowe:  Mom was in second grade and living with a foster mother in Lemont, Illinois.

2.     Corwin Robinson:  Mom was in high school – again in Lemont, Illinois.

3.      Terry Senty:  Mom was attending North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

4.     Gary Siniscalco:  Mom was divorced and working as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Human Services, County of San Diego.

5.      Lee Archuleta:  Mom was in private practice and working at CBR in Colorado.

Lee Archuleta would be 76 years old in 2013 if he had not died in 2005.  He had three sons: Darrell, Everett, and Eddie.  He had several grandchildren including Desiree.  Mom worked very hard to prevent Lee from listing her as his “common law” wife in State of Colorado records.  Before he died, Lee worked with his brother and Mom's brother to document the beginning of Covenant Programs in La Junta.

Archuleta, Eleodoro E.

Eleodoro “Lee” E. Archuleta - Pueblo Chieftain - June 20, 2005 - Eleodoro “Lee” E. Archuleta of La Junta passed away June 17, 2005. Born Jan. 6, 1937 in Chama, Colo. He is preceded in death by his parents Damacio and Martina Archuleta. Lee is survived by his brother Delmer Archuleta of Santa Ana, CA, his three sons Darrel (Carol) Archuleta of Pueblo, Everret Archuleta of Gypsum, Colo. and Eddie Archuleta of La Junta, Colo, 4 grandchildren. Also survived by his Uncle Walter (Margie) Sanchez of Pueblo, aunts Sue Cardenas of Montrose, Evangline Sanchez of Pueblo, Sylvia Archuleta of Pueblo. After graduation from Huerfano County High School in 1955 Lee served in the U.S Air Force for 4 years as an A.P. stationed in Misawa, Japan. He then attended Southern Colorado State College receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1974. Lee taught at Columbian Elementary, East Elementary, La Junta Middle School and La Junta High School. His last teaching position was with the Colorado Boys Ranch in La Junta from which he retired. Rosary to be held at Boise-Ortega Funeral Home in Walsenburg, June 20, 2005 at 7pm. Mass to be held Tues., June 21, 2005 at 11am at the Guadalupe Church in Chama. Internment to follow.

Saturday, 7 December 2013, Report to Grandad:

1. I was up @ 1 o'clock AM.
2. I wrote some letters and sent them via email.
3. @ 3:30 I used your old Dell laptop to print a hard copy.
4. I had just taken a picture of some notes that I need to remember when I heard you say, "too cold!"  You went back to bed, and I turned up the heat.
5. I jumped in the van and went to Loaf n Jug, bought your Chieftain and a breakfast sandwich that I ate before 6 AM.
6. Then I made myself a cup of hot mocha.
7. I tested a tape and set the Amway materials that I gave you in your media room.
8. @ 9 o'clock AM, I was watching Little Byte through the window.  She was sitting atop the igloo -- meowing.  I saw a few snowflakes falling -- only a few.  I think it is just too cold to snow much here. 
9. I shall be working on gifts and letters for the remainder of today so that they can be delivered before Christmas!

Ruth and I have invited my daughter, Cheryl, and her husband, Donald, to meet our friends gathering around the Christmas tree at The Barista around lunch time today.
