Grandad and Mom shared their thoughts about Hannah early this morning.  They spoke as two scientists, carefully observing the behavior of a cat that we call R.T.Lee.  I tried to listen but got lost when Mom mentioned a book, My Mother, My Self.  Maybe I got lost because I never read it?

Dearest JaMi,

     Not to worry Sweetheart!  We don't expect you to understand.  You got lost because you have never been a scientist (in Grandad's way of using that word) and because you are not a psychologist.  Neither of us expects you to understand until you too become a parent.
