Anyone passing Grandad's house in La Junta these days might note that I am celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a blackout. That is because, someone using Facebook and the name Danielle Marie McManus (my #1 daughter's birth name) and the nickname McTwisty has told me that she ended her sister's life yesterday.
I have been stunned. If indeed Ashley Dawn has been sent back into the blackness of night, I need time to discover the truth -- the facts. To do this I shall use Facebook and ask our Ruby Friends to help me. Meanwhile, I'm drawing the curtains on my work. Whatever has happened to Jackie, the community that she helped me build lives.
In constant prayer, I listen for the music that always returns.
