Using Facebook, Mom has discovered a fundamental issue in current world economy.  Mankind (i.e. human men and women) are fixated on images of themselves, believing that we are made, not like others but "in the image of God."  A few years ago, not long after his wife of over fifty years had died, Grandad met Mom in the local library and began to court her.  It was a long standing habit for him to court women who appeared tall with dark hair, quick and agile.

Mom had none of these attractions.  In fact, Mom had a lifelong habit of doing battle with these characteristics that had drawn wolf calls (whistles) when she was young.  Now she is well past the age of seventy.  She chides friends who habitually try to make her feel attractive again by calling her "young lady."  Grandad has never made that mistake.  He used well rehearsed romantic wiles to seduce her, and she fell for the WORD (PROMISE) of this hero of "The Greatest Generation" of Americans.
