Evolutions

The "civilized" world of business is turning the page.  Religiously, Mom seeks out her favorite to hang in her office for the new year.

Giving thanks this month: link, link, link, link!

After a meeting at The Barista in La Junta, Ruth took Grandad to Rocky Ford where
they ran into friends and began to experience the Christmas Story once more.

A group of children living in the desert southwest seem destined to relive the Christmas story.  A child was born in October to a woman old enough to be his grandmother.  She is a social empath.  As society and politics have unraveled, during her lifetime the part of the family of mankind that lives in The United States of America has been dominated by divorce.

La Junta had it's first snowfall this year on Veteran's Day.  Both Mom and Grandad were well prepared because they routinely watch The Weather Channel.  They are also wondering if the greatest danger our new world faces may be "the porous border" between Russia and the Ukraine. The new world's greatest hope may be in the success of landing Rosetta's payload on a comet.

Consider these classic movies to give for Christmas:
