Yesterday's open house was so successful that Mom and Grandad are determined to keep it going for the rest of 2015 as they both work diligently on taxes, on preparing Grandad's house for sale, on continuing to visit with family and friends in Colorado and New Mexico, on written correspondence and on their separate autobiographies. Mom has kept her promise to help Dr. Hess clean up the mess left in the living room and kitchen. He has kept his promise to stay in touch with his children. He has told Elsa how he intends to recycle the Christmas Tree in Rocky Ford.
Both Mom and Grandad are beginning to feel assured of a Happy 2015 because of their correspondence with friends and neighbors and especially because he has the support of his family in Georgia.

I have retired! Reporting the rain and snowfall to http://www.cocorahs.org/ is no longer my job.
