We have been doing a cost/benefit analysis with two computers and several television sets. Carolyn Ruth works hard as my secretary in spite of those who would rather she were not here. She is here, and she continues to help me with my autobiography. We have had problems lately because one of the computers is encased in plastic. Plastic breaks!
Tuesday 31 March 2015: Thanks, Dexter, for that introduction. While our new Gateway is in the shop waiting for a part so that TRIAD might fix it, I shall continue to work 24/7 using your sturdy OLD Dell. Of course, only forty hours of the week (Monday through Thursday) will be devoted to Covenant Programs, your correspondence, your autobiography and a variety of errands as your traveling companion. The rest of the time I shall continue to maintain my energy by sleeping, eating, laughing with my friends and building the Crisp-Yeager Foundation for Family in Renewal (CYFFR) in New Mexico. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING ME THE USE OF YOUR VAN OVER EASTER WEEKEND.
Tomorrow, I shall celebrate my mother's birthday -- and her memory as it is also the anniversary of her death. She was responsible for moving me out of New Mexico and putting me in the orphanage at Lake Bluff, Illinois, when I was about four years of age. Fortunately, the plasticity of a child's brain makes for renewal of life even when a family breaks.
Thursday 2 April 2015: Dexter went to The Barista, and then to Rocky Ford as usual to visit with his friends. I stayed home to pack and get ready to leave for the weekend.
