Thanksgiving

We played Parcheesi with Grandad's kids.

28 November:  I've been staying tuned to C-SPAN3's History TV, "Road to The White House" rewind.  On 11/13/79, C-SPAN taped a presidential candidate's announcement.  It caught my ear -- and my eye.  A handsome, well known actor, appeared on the screen.  I heard him speak about growing up in Illinois where I grew up and went to school.  Of course I could identify with him.  I listened as he spoke of moving to California where I had moved and worked as an Administrative Assistant for The County of San Diego when he was governor.  I had studied this man and the propaganda sent out to citizens by his party -- CAREFULLY.  Listening today to his announcement and his reasons for running, I wanted again to scream,"Lies!"
