2016

The Plan:
  1. January - March, move Grandad to Evergreen Gardens.
  2. April - June, sell his house.
  3. July - September, move my office to New Mexico.
  4. Begin teaching Ashley Dawn and her children how to run a business.
By the second week of January, Grandad was telling the folks at Evergreen that his move is 95% complete.

Thursday 14 January:  Carolyn and Grandad celebrated two birthdays this morning with friends at Evergreen Gardens.

Saturday 23 January:  We began working with Ashley Dawn, a parent.
Sunday 24 January:  Buckling down, Grandad to move the rose, Mr. Lincoln.  Mom is concentrating on moving things from Grandad's kitchen into "the apartment" kitchen so that he can make his own coffee and cookies.
Thursday 28 January:  Carolyn and Holly began the final push to get Dexter moved.
Monday 1 February:  Carolyn has opened a savings account to help Dexter pay rent and bills for "the apartment."
Monday 8 February:  Mom ate Goldfish, mourning the loss of Blaze, Little Byte and Captain Kidd and getting back to work on this sunny afternoon.
Tuesday 16 February:  With high hopes, we both went back to work.
Friday19 February:  Grandad has been working at the BIG house getting it ready to sell.  Ruth has been waiting for TRIAD to help set up her television and entertainment systems at Evergreen Gardens so that she and Dexter can both enjoy their own, separate television shows and DVDs, each in their separate bedrooms.

Thursday 25 February:  Mom is saying good-bye to Tyler.

Sunday 28 February:  Mom and Grandad had a late breakfast at the Copper Kitchen Cafe with Delbert  this morning.  Del has a daughter who, like Grandad, is a microbiologist.
Monday 29 February:  Ruth and Grandad are winding up the month's big push and looking forward to a visit from Elsa and Dan in March while Carolyn Crisp-Yeager celebrates her youngest daughter's birthday and gets serious about her taxes.
Tuesday 8 March:  GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT MOVING MOM TO RATON, NEW MEXICO!
