Integrity

The whole wide world (WWW) has been puzzling over the differences between The Obama Nation and the Obama nation.  Political games and brinkmanship (and plays on words) did not begin with the nuclear age and WWII.  The conflict had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor, Korea, Vietnam, Bin Laden, 9/11 or Sadam.  The differences between the old world and the new have always been in the way we live out our moral integrity -- or so I believe.  My personal life experience (reflected in that Hollywood styled argument between Julia Roberts and an interviewer) has shaped this opinion.

This morning after one night of political caucusing, nothing appears to have changed.  In the past, many people and political (government) agencies tried to dissuade me from confronting my girls who were living in violence and fear -- and learning to hate.  Yet the peace and joy that fill my heart today continue to grow because, in Ashley Dawn, the battle my children have waged against "Mom" has finally resolved into a Gilmore Girls friendship.  The result is not a convergence of personal opinions but a convergence of all of our blogs.
