Surrendering

A child's anger naturally turns against a parent during adolescence, creating a sea of pain.  The sage parent knows how to let go -- allowing God to take the helm of relationship.  drCCYmom

As my brother (Bob) knows, I let my children go when social services told them to run away. I sent #1 to live and go to school with him in Albuquerque. I was proud of her having learned to tell me the truth of what she had done, and I trusted her to stay safe with him.

I sent my baby girl, my personal joy, to Loving Homes in Pueblo where the staff had promised to help us work through her anger safely. I trusted them (the staff), and I trusted the law. I was naive.
