American Heretics

It has been a warm and quiet weekend with The Washington Post.  Early Saturday morning I stopped at La Junta's Village Inn/Pancake House to talk with George and see my godson, Mr.T.  I used my Nook to catch up on my reading of the Post before reporting to Grandad at Garfield Place.  This was a day of rest.  I took no phone calls and posted no letters.  I did make an important decision about using Facebook in 2014 and confirmed it in an email to Grandad.

Then we went to lunch at the Copper Kitchen Cafe.  The conversation swirled all around us.  It was full of heretical prejudice guided by Grace.  Over night, a front has moved into the valley, the temperature has taken a dive, and we have awakened to see a blanket of snow -- just as The Weather Channel had predicted.
