Separation

Separation IS A GOOD THING!  Mom and Grandad have decided to give it a try -- for a while.  Pets and I are doing IT for both of them.

10 am Monday 9 June 2014:  Grandad returned from working at Scaff Brothers.  Mom, aka GranCCY, has been working in his house like a house wife! (Laughing)  Of course she isn't his wife; she just likes doing housework.  She enjoys cleaning house as much as Grandad enjoys weeding his garden.

4:30 am Thursday 12 June 2014:  GranCCY is happy these days because Grandad has made an appointment for a professional to come in next month to give his house a good scrubbing inside.  GranCCY is over seventy; she is not steady on her feet, and she experiences constant pain due to spinal degeneration, rheumatoid arthritis and neuropathy (nerves dying) in her hands and feet.

8:30 am Tuesday 1 July 2014:  Grandad has accepted Mom's separation.  He just called and asked her to lunch with him at his house so that they might discuss THEIR THOUGHTS about the future.  GranCCY continued to use Facebook to answer questions, and Ruth is telling her friends, privately, that she will not make any more plans with Grandad until after they are in New Mexico again on his birthday.
