Thanksgiving List

  • Elsa, The Lioness (Grandad's daughter)
  • Cheryl, her only sister
  • Monty, her favorite brother
All three of these children USUALLY call their dad to give him something rather than ask for something.  They have blessed us both with their generosity.  CYFFR

Mom has a separate Thanksgiving list: Cove Pros Co-Signers
  1. Sheila Ziegler, JaMi's godmother
  2. Abba of "George's Business"
  3. The church in New Mexico
The first two were co-signers on Mom's personal checking account when she started to invest in Covenant Programs, Incorporated.  The third is now a representative of CYFFR AND THE FOUNDATION SAVINGS ACCOUNT with a church in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We encourage our readers to consider sending the church a tax deductible gift in the name of The Crisp-Yeager Foundation for Family in Renewal.

Thursday 4 December 2014:  Mom is doing her best to stay out of Grandad's kitchen while he cooks.
Friday 5 December 2014:  Mom is struggling with the blame for a great divide in Grandad's family.
Saturday 13 December 2014:  Mom enjoyed a day of rest with books including Just Mercy and Flood of Lies.
Sunday 14 December 2014:  The ides of the month is here again, time for Grandad to FEED and water --  that is, HUSBAND all things living on his property.
Monday 15 December 2014:  Mom found herself working with Ruth, listening to news on NPR rather than television and doing research on teens and new words like technoference.   That was early AM before other residents of the Opera House Apartments were up and about.  Mom seems to be the earliest bird to tweet!  Then they met Grandad at the Copper Kitchen.  He wanted both of them to "come home" for Christmas.  They visited with Janice (recently retired from doing foster care for social services in Otero County) for a while and laughed at her starting to call this restaurant "the senior center."  In the PM, they listened to and appreciated the music of KCME.
Tuesday 16 December 2014:  Mom and Grandad are on vacation.  If you want, you may call 719-384-2464 and leave a message.  They check their messages frequently, even when traveling.
Wednesday 17 December 2014:  One day of celebration?  Mom and Ruth struggled with reality and with Grandad -- reliving the trauma, remembered with friends, as they all expressed gratitude to Grandad for rescuing Mom.
